Lake Vista Lodge is a lovely detached lodge with uninterrupted views of the lake in South Lakeland Leisure Village and it can sleep four people. The all ground floor lodge has a double bedroom with a dressing room and an en-suite shower room, a twin bedroom, a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a decked balcony overlooking the lake with furniture. With onsite facilities and lovely lake views, Lake Vista Lodge is a wonderful holiday base.

Range cooker with electric ovens and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, 2 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, DAB digital radio/iPod dock, WiFi (at additional cost from site reception). Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Cot and highchair. Off road parking for 2 cars. Decked balcony overlooking the lake with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 min walk. Note: Cabin accessed via 3 small steps to the front door. Note: Unfenced lake 30 feet away, please ensure children are supervised at all times. Note: Additional charges for use of leisure facilities - Prices: Individual adult £5 per day and individual child £3 per day. Family pass (up to 2 adults and 3 children) £10 per day, £30 per 3 days and £60 per week. Under 4s free of charge. |

For the historically minded, Cumbria offers a wealth of Celtic monuments, Roman remains, stately homes and ruined abbeys. Carlisle still has some of its ancient walls standing, as well as a Norman castle, and the western part of Hadrian’s Wall is nearby. Other places of interest include Penrith, with its castle and remarkably unchanged market square; Keswick, which was once the centre of pencil manufacturing; the busy market town of Kendal and Cockermouth, Wordsworth’s birthplace.
